My current doorbell is a "Panasonic Easa-Phone Door Phone model "KX-T30865". When a visitor presses the button it announces/rings on my Panasonic phone system in my house. The Panasonic system is about 20 years old. I believe the wires for the Panasonic Door Phone run to a central location in my home and then to the individual Panasonic phones.
I would like to replace this Panasonic Door Phone with a Nest Doorbell (wired) if possible. Does anyone know if I connect the Nest Doorbell to the existing Panasonic wires, whether this will work and when the Nest button is pressed will it ring on my Panasonic phone system? Any suggestions on how to make this work with a Nest wired doorbell? Thanks.

Hi MichaelJB,
Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for the delayed response here. To learn more about Nest Hello compatibility, take a look at this guide: Check Nest doorbell compatibility. Also, I recommend contacting a Nest Pro near your area.
Let me know if you have more questions in mind.
Thanks,
JT

Thanks for the reply. The question I posed above regarding my existing Panasonic system is very specific. Who would your recommend I turn to to answer that question? Can I email the question to a Nest Pro and if so how would I locate that person? thanks much.

Thanks, yes I have seen the responses. As you suggested, I contacted the Nest Pro via telephone and was routed to what seemed to be a call center. The salesperson was not knowledgable enough to be able to answer my specific question about potential connectivity to my existing Panasonic doorbell/phone system and instead wanted to schedule an appointment for which I would be charged $129. I am hoping that before spending any more time or money, that someone would be able to answer the question as to whether the Nest wired doorbell will work with my existing Panasonic doorbell/phone system which is "Panasonic Easa-Phone Door Phone model "KX-T30865". Thanks!
