Connecting Nestcam (battery operated) to NestAware subscription

Hi. I recently installed an outdoor mount battery-powered Nest camera (installed successfully through Google Home as directed).

I have a NestAware Plus subscription, through which I see my other cameras displayed.

However, this new camera does not appear as a new Space when I go to my Nest app (both on phone and computer).

How do I add this camera so I can view all of my spaces at once?

Google Nest decided that its newer cameras and doorbells released starting in the autumn of 2021 would work ONLY in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app or the home.nest.com website.

However, your Nest Aware covers all new and old cameras in the same Google Nest "home/structure".

By the way, Google Nest just made available a new https://home.google.com website that has live streaming for all of our cameras, explained here:

Hi there,

 

Thank you for your feedback on this, I fully understand the frustrations of not having your new Nest cams in the Nest app like you may be used too. However, you can now use the Google Home web app to view your cameras and doorbells.

 

The new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. Thank you for your continued patience, and support.
