Can not add second phone connected to the same camera on Nest application, which already works fine with both phones ( second phone has already migrated to owners account) on Nest thermostat. No problems connecting each phone individually to the camera.

What exactly are you trying to do, and with which camera or doorbell? (Your post says "Nest Doorbell [wired Gen 2]", which gets installed in the Google Home app.) Phones are not "connected" to cameras.
Rather, you have to be a member of a Google Nest "household" in order to have access to all of the cameras and doorbells in the same Google Nest "home/structure". And you invite people (with a gmail account) into your "household" by going to Settings | Household in the Google Home app (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9155535), UNLESS you use only the Google Nest app for older cameras and doorbells and have NOT migrated to a Google Account, in which case you manage access by going to Settings | Family in the Google Nest app (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9304271).

Hi DG52,
Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To know more about your concern, I'd like to confirm, are you trying to add your Nest Camera to your second phone using a different email address? If so, you just have to invite your other email address using the Google Home app. Here's how.
Let us know how it goes.
I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.
Best,
Emerson

As I mentioned earlier, the way in which you grant access to Google Nest devices like cameras is to invite the other person to be a member of your Google Nest "home/structure" by going to Settings | Household in the Google Home app. Your wife would then be able to go to that same Google Nest "home/structure" in the Google Home app to access the camera. From your description, it sounds like you may instead be trying to separately install your camera in the Google Home app on your wife's phone.

You are correct. I will follow your recommendation...

Hi EmersonB,
My wife does not "see" my camera in Google Home, she sees only camera she installed. It is the same with me, I see only the one I installed. Also there is another issue and that is that in existing Nest application we both can see only thermometer and if we want to do anything with cameras Nest send us to Home application.

Have you each installed a camera in your own Google Nest "home/structure" on your own separate Google Accounts?
08-03-2023 02:59 PM
When installing I started in Google Nest application, but installation forced me to go to my own Google Home and installation was completed there. Now to do anything with camera I have to open Home application.
On the access to cameras, even though through Google Home application, my wife now can see/control both cameras. However, I still can see only mine. I think this is due to different Household organizations we have on our phones....

I'm not sure why you want or need multiple Google Nest "homes". One disadvantage is that a Nest Aware subscription applies to only one Google Nest "home". Also note that when you go to Settings | Household in the Google Home app to invite someone to your "household" and give them access to your devices, you do that for each Google Nest "home".

Thanks.

Hi DG52,
Thanks for providing helpful information. Aside from what MplsCustomer has shared, when you and your wife want to have access to all of your Nest devices, we would recommend you to link them to one account then invite the other home member using the Google Home app so that they don't have to install them with their own account. Hit this link for more information and let us know if you have more questions in mind.
Best,
Emerson
