Continuous streaming with a powered 2021 nest cam (battery)

Hi there,  is it possible to continuously stream a 2021 nest cam when it is powered? (so no battery issues)

Here is what I tried: I kept a chrome book open (powered) with the google home app continuously streaming 3 cameras around my house just as a test. What I observed is every 10-15 minutes or so, some of the camera views would go away and I'd have to manually refresh. However, I'm not sure if its an attribute of the (pretty poor) google home app - because even if you scroll just a little bit, it aggressively turns off cameras that start going out of view.

I observed the same disconnection and re-connection on manual refresh on my iPhone as well.

I have disabled battery optimizations in all cameras.

My end state is to purchase some nest hub devices that may continuously stream my cameras, but it looks like even in powered mode, these cams don't keep streaming. If this is so, I am wondering if anyone knows if these are hardware limitations or firmware (which potentially can be upgraded in future).

thanks.

I misunderstood your original post. By 24/7 streaming, I thought you meant recording 24/7 on Nest Aware. I realize now you mean streaming continually onto a video device. I can stream the camera onto one of our Google Hubs, but have only done it occasionally. I just tried it now for 30 minutes without interruption.

We're using the same cable you are using.

One of our Google Nest cameras is the new Google Nest Camera Battery, which we purchased with the Google power cable. It streams 24/7 with our Nest Aware subscription. Judging from some of the postings I've seen here, it MIGHT possibly be different if you're using the 3-foot charging cable that comes with the new Google Nest Camera Battery to power the camera.  Maybe there's a difference between the optional power cable and the charging cable.

Thank you. How are you streaming 24x7? Is it on a nest hub? I have the nest aware subscription as well.
I am using the 10m Google weatherproof charging cable - it’s identical to the cable google supplies but longer. When you saw power vs charging cable which ones are you referring to?

That is  good to know - I’m going to attribute this to the mobile app then. Thank you so much for testing the feed.
