How in the SAM HILL am I not permitted to create a custom video clip with this brand new camera? Not allowed to even view them using the Nest app or home.nest.com site. But the new home.google.com site and the Google Home app don't allow you create a custom video clip. I guess it's just too bad that the important event took place 5 seconds before an event flag was created by your genius camera. Thanks for nothing google.

Our only hope is that the upcoming updates to the Google Home app or the new https://home.google.com website now in preview will eventually have the capabilities that our older Google Nest cameras already have:

Yes, I suppose we can keep our fingers crossed. I could understand that limitation for instances of battery only operation. But with these cameras being plugged in to power, it’s a pretty big disappointment.
