Delay in Nest doorbell ringing

My Google Nest battery doorbell has recently started having a delay when being pressed. The delay can be anything from 5-10 seconds before it chimes in my speakers. It's there a way to fix this issue?

Hi ic84,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To confirm, when did you notice the issue? How many devices are connected to your Wifi network? Try restarting your Nest Doorbell, speakers and Wifi router. Let us know how it goes.

I appreciate the help, JillG.

I’m having the same issue, it’s been working fine for 6 months but the last few weeks has had huge delays on phone and speaker notifications, sometimes up to a minute later, it’s getting to the point that it’s almost unusable and I’ve missed at least one delivery as a result.

Same issue here with new Nest Battery Doorbell. Strong wifi connection.

Hello everybody,

I'm bumping up this thread to ensure that everything is covered here. To confirm, were you able to follow the steps I've shared above? In case you're still getting the same issue, you may try resetting your Nest Doorbell to the factory default. Don't hesitate to post your update here.

Regards,

Emerson
