Device not working.

Why did my new Outdoor Nestcam with Floodlight (wired) go offline when all my other Google cams are working? Also I can no longer see the ‘floodlight’ symbol in my Google Home app…only the camera component on the app.

We don't have the new floodlight camera at our house, but perhaps the reply yesterday (Dec. 14) from "justsam" on this thread might be helpful:

So strange…after one week of wired Nest Cam with floodlight being offline with no floodlight icon showing in app…this morning it was back online with the floodlight icon now again visible in the app.  This entire past week our other Nest Cams at this location have not had any issues.  We haven’t even physically been at this location and have not been able to try any interventions.  Why did it go offline and then a week later go back online????

I am having the same issue. I installed the flood light with camera today. It all was working well and when I looked later in the day the flood light is not showing in the nest app. Please advise.

The floodlight camera, like all of Google Nest's new cameras released since the fall of 2021, can only be accessed from the Google Home app, and NOT from the Google Nest app.
