In option for motion people sound only sound option is present?

I have the Nest Outdoor Cam and I have the same issue.
In notifications I could always select people and motion but there are no choices other than sound.
Do I need to upgrade to Nest Aware to get these options back? If so, how do you upgrade?
I cannot find any answers in the app.

There will be no future with me and Google nest, I will be switching to another company, one that will stand behind their product. Not one that lies and says how sorry they are and they promise to learn from me wasting over 800 dollars. But you look in these feeds and all you see are quality issues and everyone gets the same lies.

Just what everybody wants as a resolution, buy a new camera every few years. If that's the game don't waste your money on Google Nest as they are expensive and don't last.
