Do Google Home notifications not have image previews?!?

So I just installed the Nest Cam with Floodlight - it only supports Google Home so I have a bunch, but not all, of my  Nest stuff in the Nest app and a bunch, but not all, of my Nest stuff in Google Home.

Anyway, am I doing something wrong or... do the Google Home notification messages not have image previews?

If I trigger my Nest app cams, I get a notification with a picture so I can see at a glance if I care enough to actually open the camera feed to look into the event more. Usually that's enough, because you can tell at a glance that it's the FedEx guy or Amazon person or something.

If I trigger the Google Home (Floodlight Cam) cam, I get a notification that basically says "I saw a person" and that's it -  no picture. I then have to press the event to open the app to see what just happened. If this is as intended, this is not very well thought out.

So: am I doing something wrong, is something not working right, or is this software in desperate need of some updates?

OK, in case anyone is wondering - I found an official Google post. Apparently, image preview only works on Android right now and is coming soon to iOS. This is basic functionality, kind of ridiculous it's not supported off-the-bat. Hopefully, the update comes soon.
