Door bell don't lock in place

I tried forever to lock the dooorbell in place! Whats the trick!

Hi everyone,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To confirm, do you have the wired or battery type of Nest Doorbell? In case you have the 2nd gen wired, just hit this link to know how to lock it on its back plate and skip it to 8:22 minutes. Let us know how it goes.

No I have battery and i put it in place does not lock in. I put two way tape on it but will have a mess to take off. I had this and it is out of warranty.. just had to wait until I moved to use it and no I am SOL

@jojo1965, may I ask how you knew that your Nest Doorbell was already out of warranty? Have you contacted our phone support already, by any chance?
