Doorbell Audio echoing

I recently purchased and installed the Nest Hello, however when visitors speak into it, they will hear their words spoken back to them.  AKA it is echoing their voice so it makes conversations very difficult.  Sounds like maybe this is an issue between the Google/Nest app and Samsung phones?  I am using a Samsung S9+. The unit does not exhibit these problems using my IPAD. Has anyone found a resolution for this or know if Google is working on a solution?
