I am using a 16V transformer and normal chime with only front door ringer. Originally, I tested my chime first without Nest to verify it was working fine. Then, I connected Nest Hello and chime connector exactly as shown in diagram using 16V transformer output. Nest app was able to communicate with the Hello and I could see video and get alerts, however, the chime would not ring. All help would be appreciated!

Thank you for the response. It was the "Chime Duration" setting in device options within the app... I just turned it "on".

Hi MNO, did you install the little adapter that goes inside the doorbell box where the chime is? It is a small circular disk with 2 wires on it.

Hello MNO and Rbr, The only thing I can think of is maybe the wiring isn't correct for the adapter. Here is an excellent video from NEST showing the various way you can connect it. I hope this helps...
