Doorbell and Camera notifications no longer working on iPhone?

I've read that other people have had their notifications work and stop randomly on iPhone. I've followed the same steps that they did to resolve the issues (uninstalling the app, and reinstalling), however, this NOT a reasonable solution to a product that costs £150+ for each device. I doubt it's the product itself, but the Google Home App. The main reason for having a home security system in place and in particular, a doorbell, is so that you can interact with whoever's at your home in real time.

Right now, this makes this product totally useless.

Yes I still need help with this. I've re-installed the google home app on my iPhone since this post to try and get notifications to work, they work temporarily, I'd say around 2-3days and then they just stop working. No idea why.

I am experiencing the same issue with my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Notifications for my Nest Doorbell do not work. Worked fine with my iPhone 7+ but not this new phone.

Hey folks,

 

Restarting and factory resetting your Google Nest camera or doorbell will have different results:

 

Restart: Keeps all your settings, and it should reconnect to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever becomes frozen, has trouble reconnecting to the internet, or isn't working normally.

 

Factory reset: Erases all your settings and options, and restores its factory default settings. It will not automatically reconnect to Wi-Fi and you'll need to set it up again.
