My doorbell is connected to alexa and everything works fine except for alerts when motion is detected. I have enabled it just as the notification when the doorbell is pressed but its only the pressed doorbell which comes through alexa and not if motion is detected. Anyone else had this issue?
I don't know how the Alexa interface works, but we can only get "Visitor announcements" (doorbell presses) on our Nest Hubs and Nest Mini; we cannot get motion and people alerts on our Nest Hubs.
Yes, as far as I know Google has not make this feature available. One good option is to go in the GOOGLE HOME app and user the FEEDBACK feature to submit your request. Google does not read this user forum so you have to submit feedback thru the app.
