I have the Nest Doorbell (battery) and the factory reset steps are not working for me. When I use the sim tool to press the reset button only a white light comes on after 5 seconds. I continue to hold for the full 10+ seconds and the yellow light never comes on. I do get a green solid light and the ring light is solid white also, but no reset. I have tried this multiple times with the device plugged in and not plugged in and I always get the same result, green light only after about 5 seconds

Hey mate I sure did try all of those suggestions. Paper clip, 1mm drill bit and sim tool all held down for up to a minute in multiple attempts to reset. No sounds at all just the white light and then it turns green and ring light comes on. No yellow light and no audio cues that I can hear.
