At some point this morning, my Nest Doorbell turned into a brick. However, there was a break-in across the street from me prior to the doorbell dying. I was able to view the clip and didn't have a chance to save it down before my wife talked with Google support and they confirmed it has died and are sending a new one.
I've attempted plugging it into my computer via USB and it tells me the device has malfunctioned so I can't directly access anything. I did save the clip, but in the process of talking to the rep from Google she disconnected it from the Nest app and factory reset it multiple times.
Am I/my neighbor's out of luck?
