Hello, I'm an end user like you. My first question is this a brand new install? Or has it been working okay and now it is failing?
One thing you can do is may sure you are on the most up to date version of the Google Home app.
Another thing you can try is a "restart" of the doorbell. I do not suggest you go down the path of the full factory reset at this point at that can sometimes be a real habit whole. Here are the instruction for doing both...
