Doorbell or Outside Camera?

New to this Connected Home stuff…

Trying to decide if I should install a Google Nest  outside camera and use my regular doorbell, or if I should just replace my regular doorbell with a Nest Doorbell and not install a camera near my front door? 

Don’t they do the same sort of thing?

 Do I need both or is just one of these Camera options enough?

Depending on the size of your home/front yard you may want to install both. I would start with the doorbell and see how much area is covered before adding the second outdoor camera.

Doorbell. And if you can find it, purchase the previous generation wired-only version. The 2021 version (battery) is inferior.
