On my Google Nest Doorbell Battery, the small button on the back that prevents the doorbell from being removed without using the tool is now stuck in the "pushed in" position. This now means that the doorbell can't be re-mounted properly and is not secured on the mount. Is there any way to get the button to jump into the "out" position? Using the tool it doesn't seem feasible. Please advise.

I've seen other posts in this forum from customers who have the same problem. You could try contacting Google Nest Support; perhaps they're replace your doorbell:

Hi folks,
Thanks for your help here, MplsCustomer.
I'm sorry to hear that your Nest Doorbell (battery) can't be mounted to the wall mount and the pin is stuck. Could you please send us a photo of your doorbell battery so we can have a better look?
Looking forward to your response.
Thanks,
JT

Hello MplsCustomer,
I've used your link and filed and RMA under warranty. The replacement unit is being shipped as we speak. So I guess the issue will be solved with this. Thanks for your reply!

Hello JT,
A new unit was shipped under warranty and had already been fixed to my wall. The old unit is in its way back to Google. No further assistance is required, as my problem has been solved.
Kindest regards, Repeat64
