Hello! Currently having issues with the new generation of the wired google home doorbell. When I installed the doorbell it had worked properly . Currently now the doorbell will sometimes have a faint ring or most of the time the doorbell won’t ring. I use to have the nest gen 1 doorbell and everything had worked. I checked wires and everything seems to be properly connect. Please help!

Wi-Fi signal strength has nothing to do with how your wired indoor doorbell chime rings, but it could be affected by your doorbell transformer. You can check the doorbell transformer requirements here:

You could also check whether your chime connector is wired correctly; see the wiring diagrams here:

Have you got nest speakers that you want to ring or does your home have internal chimes? If so you will need to enable the indoor chimes by checking the 'indoor chime' box in settings - doorbell - ring indoor chime on the Google home app

Just checked my setting ands it’s on. Would you think maybe Wi-Fi signal is weak?
