Neighbor dug up our fiber. In getting that sorted we got a new router. So new network and new password. Tried everything to get it back online to no avail. Finally hit factory reset. In set up I don’t get blue light, it goes directly to green. I removed the device from my account to set up as fresh but still never get blue light. I went back to the old nest app and it’s not connected there either. I don’t want to buy a new one as it thinks it’s connected to something. What else can I try?

The 2nd gen Google Nest Doorbell cannot be set up in the Google Nest app.
It sounds like your doorbell did NOT get factory reset.
When you did the factory reset, did you depress the factory reset pin for at least 12 seconds until the status light blinked yellow 4 times with a countdown tone, followed by a steady solid yellow status light and then a confirmation tone, as described here (see the factory reset instructions, not the restart instructions)?

Yes I got the blinking lights and tone and it went back to green light.

I'm just another customer, but I think that means it did NOT factory reset.
