Doorbell speaker not working

JozefDransfield

Just noticed that the speaker on the nest wired doorbell has stopped working. It used to make a chime when you pressed the button but that doesn’t work anymore, also you can’t hear when someone answers the door on the app and none of the canned responses make any sound.

Hi Jozef,

Best things to do is

1) try a regular reboot of the doorbell, if this does not fix the issue then you will need to

2) do a factory reset, and setup from scratch.

Finally if either of those do not work, then you will need to contact support to see about your warranty options, as it would most likely be a hardware defect at that point.
