my video stream is flashing  pixilated between this green, yellow, black, and white. It can’t detect movement- this happened out of the blue.

Thanks for response. I ended up communicating with google service techs, and they ordered a replacement for mine, as nothing at home solved the problem.

Hi Caytay96,

Thanks for reaching out. We appreciate you sharing a screenshot of your Nest Doorbell (battery). Let’s sort this out. How’s the temperature of your Nest doorbell (hot, warm, cold or normal)? When did the issue start? Also, is it exposed to extreme temperatures?

Here are some troubleshooting you could try:

  • Unplug the camera from the power source, wait for 30 seconds, and plug the camera back in.
  • If the Night Vision settings are on Auto, switch it to Manual. Then, manually toggle the setting on and off. Observe the feed to check if the green, yellow, black and white tint goes away when you toggle the Night Vision settings off.
  • Ensure your Nest doorbell is installed in a supported location and not in an area prone to overheat or direct sunlight.
  • Lastly, unplug the camera from its power source and reposition it after it’s had sufficient time to cool.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks,

JT
