Hello. We gutted our home and are rebuilding it now; all of the wiring was removed. As we reinstall everything we will need to install the new Nest doorbell (wired version) we purchased. Does anyone know if there is wiring schematic I can follow to install the necessary wiring/transformer??
Thank you.

I'm pretty sure that will be included with what ever doorbell you choose to purchase. The next doorbell should work with just about everything you buy today. But you will want to choose one where the transformer has the correct specs for the Nest Doorbell which are listed on the Google Website.

The wiring diagrams on this Google Nest Help topic for the 2nd Gen Google Nest Doorbell show how to connect the "chime puck" for the 2nd Gen Google Nest Doorbell to an existing doorbell chime. The diagrams assume that the doorbell(s) is/are already wired.

You could search online for one of many instructions on how to install a doorbell system, and then use Google Nest's wiring diagram on top of that. My guess is that Google Nest does not provide instructions for installing a doorbell system.

Hello everyone,
@dpm1968 It's us again. I'm bumping up this thread to make sure if you're able to install properly your Nest Doorbell? This link might help you with your concern. It has a video with an explanation on how to install the Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen). Let us know how it goes.
I appreciate your answer, EmptyNester, MplsCustomer and JT.
Best,

Just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, I would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let me know.
