Doorbell won't mount after charging

I took the doorbell off to charge it, the pin the locates into the wall mount has stuck inside the body of the doorbell so I cannot remount it. This appears to be a fairly common fault. I've tried using the removal tool to pop it back out as suggested on another post with no luck. Thoughts?

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this, as I can imagine it has been an inconvenience. I would love to look into this further for you. Have you tried a pin or something small to try and dislodge it? What other troubleshooting methods have you tried besides what you shared here?

Yes I tried using a small object to pop pin out. No luck.
