Doorbell

I can't get my Gen1 nest to work with my doorbell (No Notification or Sound), Have set up all required settings in the Google home app but nothing showing on the nest. Have notifications and a tri alert sound on both I phones I use but the volume would not wake a door mouse.

Can any one assist with the following:

1  How do I change Alert Sound on I phones? (Have tried changing in notifications on each phone but does not change sound from doorbell)

2  How do I get Gen1 nest to work with doorbell (Is gen 1 nest compatible with Doorbell)

It seems to me that the nest doorbell (Battery) is not a doorbell at all!

We have the older Google Nest Hello Doorbells, but the Google Nest Doorbell (Battery) is supposed to send an announcement to all your Nest Hubs, Nest Minis, and speakers if you turn on "Visitor announcements" in Settings for your doorbell (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451?hl=en#zippy=%2Cturn-visitor-announcements-on-or...).

Thanks for your reply. Had set up as per your suggestion but still would not work. Today I reset hub and re-installed and now working OK.
