Long story short, the police are after my driveway camera footage over the period of about a week to investigate a suspected murder, and I can't figure out how to get it to them.
The obvious answer is Google Takeout, but that produces an error after a few days: "We couldn’t create a copy of your Google data: Something went wrong and we couldn’t create a copy of your Google data. You can try to create a new export.". I've tried a few times to no avail.
The Home app only lets me export clips associated with an event, not the 24/7 continual recording that I need.
I've tried both Google Nest support and Google One support, only to be told that there's nothing that can be done and that Google Takeout has no support team. Meanwhile, each day I'm getting closer to the auto-delete time and there's nothing I can do to stop it from deleting the footage that may be needed for a murder investigation!
At this point, I'm hugely regretting fitting out my house with expensive Nest cameras, only to find the one time I need them for their sole purpose of solving a crime, they are entirely useless. Any suggestions?

Since the Google Home app does not let us create video clips manually, some customers in this forum have reported using their phone's built-in video capture capability to record and save the footage they need.
