I have a new Samsung pad. I am trying to set up my existing Nest door bell on this new pad. It works fine on my othe pads and phones. I go through the set up process, it finds the camea but states the account belongs to someone else. Not true. If I reset it will then not be on my other devices and I fear that I will then not be able to set up on my now working devices. I had no problem in the past setting up any of the others. Google help is no help as it just looks at this as it was another's camera and must be cleared and reset. My others log in automatically so I can not be sure what password and log in information is used, although I do have a list. But I need a way to verify user and password to see if I am loging in with the wrong account. By the way when I get email notifications, such as spotted someone, the camera shows up on this new pad just fine. How do I verify what account my Nest app is on? I have tried everthing Google offers. The app under manage account just gives my Google email and nothing more. Thanks in advance.

You are overthinking this... you would simply log into the nest app using the same google account that you use on your other devices, your existing nest devices should automatically appear, you do NOT need to re setup anything, simply sign in.

Thank you for replying. Yes it lists the email, but I try loging in with the password associated to that account and no go. I click reset password but no link ever sent to any of my emails. This is driving me crazy. I have tried with Nest app and with Google. It seems Google looks at it as a new Nest account. Just the blue Nest home screen and " No recent activity ". The settings on this new pad Nest screen account only gives the email which is wrong as it is the Google email with no way to change it. This is where I try to connect to the Doorbell by a new setup and get the some one else owns this doorbell business.

Okay forget the app for a moment, can you visit home.nest.com , and try to log in there with the google account, and see if the camera is showing up there? Also, you can try going to the nest app on one of the working devices, click your google account, and click manage account, and update your password from there, just to ensure you have it right across all devices.

Don't know what you mean by that... If you are having an issue create a topic so we can try to help figure it out! But since this is your only post on the forums, I'm not sure what the issue is.

To add to this, on one of the devices that is working with the nest doorbell, open the nest app, click the settings cog (top right), click account, that will show you which account is linked to the device. Use THAT account to sign in on the new device.

Again thanks, but yes that is where I get the correct email that is associated. I try to log into Nest with the password associated to tha email and no go. I try resetting the password but no response in any of my emails. It is as if Google has screwed the whole nest thing up?

You may have switched over to a google account login, can you try to login using "Log in with Google" rather than "Sign in with nest", or vice versa. its confusing .. I know.. they could have handled it better, but if its working on some of your devices, then you should be able to get in using the proper method.
