Hello, I like that the familiar faces works very well (after a few weeks of training), however please can you feed back the following two suggestions:
1. Please may you implement an option to only alert for unfamiliar faces. I'm tired of seeing 'my wife is at the front door' whenever she goes for a cigarette.
2. Please may you also find a way of linking a familiar face as me, so I don't get alerted that 'my name is at the front door'. I know I'm at the front door. Duh.
(Also, any chance of alerting for different animals? I think I have a hedgehog digging up my garden 🙂)
Keep up the good work,
Schmaulie

Hi Schmaulie,
Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. That feature is not available in the Nest app or Google Home app. When you turn off the familiar faces detection and the person alert is enabled, you may still get a notification but for a person seen only and no familiar or unfamiliar faces will be recognized. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback. I'd suggest you send feedback to let the Google Engineering team know about your concern. While they won't respond directly back to you, this is the best way to let them know about this.
Looking forward to your response.
Regards,
Emerson
