Inexplicably on Sat Jan 29th we woke up to my Daughters Family Link Managed account stating she was diaconnected from our Home. Upon review this was indeed the case.
1. We cannot add her as a Home member in the Nest app because it states we have to manage additions in Google Home. That drops us into the Google Home App which immediately states "This invitation is no longer available."
2. When trying to Invite her Child account to the Household in the Google Home App, we receive a message stating we cannot add the child account in this App, we have to do it in Family Link. That then drops us into the Family Link App which displays "No devices found" after a search of the correct wireless network SSID. Presumably this is because all of the Speakers, Displays and Chromecasts already show up for her as Google Assistant associated devices in Family Link.
After whatever changes have been implemented and applied to us on Saturday Jan 29th, 2022. My daughter's Child account managed with Family Link can no longer utilize Google Home on her device to manage the Hello Doorbell or any of our third party (Geenie) smart plugs and light bulbs as well as Roku Devices. She also has lost the capabilty in Google Home to see the Home, Rooms, and Device-Room associations. Gone now too are the Media, Brodcast, Routines and Call Home capability in the Google Home App.
This is all basically useless to her at this point. WTH happened?
