Just thought might be helpful to some people as this cameras not cheap but seems you can only have 2 cameras on single wifi- network to connect reliably after an outage. I got 3 and had a spare router so I've set up one on a different wifi network that's runs off the router and tested it out gone from been a lottery as to which of the 3 cameras will come online to them reliably coming online, I know not ideal  solution but its there.

@serg123

I've never heard of a 2-camera limit on a single Wi-Fi network to connect reliably after an outage. Using a separate Wi-Fi network means you cannot see all of your cameras in the same Google Nest "home/structure".

We have 9 cameras and doorbells. The only issue we have is that--as reported by MANY in this forum--two of our 1st gen outdoor cameras (always the same two) will not come back online after a power outage unless we unplug each of them for a short while and then plug them back in.  This never happens with our 1st gen indoor camera, our three 1st gen doorbells,  or our 2nd gen battery camera or 2nd gen indoor wired camera.

@MplsCustomer  all you need to do is search this forum and you will hear all about, just put in the term "Camera going offline after power outages " as they locked them threads I couldn't post in there. I don't think what you said about wifi networks makes any sense, during initial installation process for the camera in your own home structure it asks you to provide it wifi network you just pick a different one at that point and it all works with a single home structure no problem at all.

@serg123

I know there are multiple posts about cameras going offline after a power outage; I mentioned that MANY in this forum have reported on that.  However, I think most of the posts report this happening with 1st gen Google Nest Outdoor Cameras; in our case, it's only two specific 1st gen outdoor cameras that don't reconnect without having to be unplugged for a minute.  And I've never seen a post saying this occurs because there are more than 2 Google Nest cameras on the same Wi-Fi network.

I am not following your comment about picking a different Wi-Fi network than the one you're in during the install process.  Customers in this forum have complained for years that all of the Google Nest devices in a Google Nest "home/structure" have to be on the same Wi-Fi network.   So a customer would need two Google Nest "homes" and therefore two Nest Aware subscriptions if they had a main residence and a vacation home on two different Wi-Fi networks, and a customer would need two Google Nest "homes" and therefore two Nest Aware subscriptions if their home had a separate building that was on a different Wi-Fi network because of its distance from the main house.  Google Nest does not clearly document this, but I've seen numerous posts confirming this going back years.

also to add little bit more info I got doorbell (batttery) and 2  indoor/outdoor (battery) cams and as you mentioned above only fix that's been suggested on this forum is to physically reset your cameras but that is just doesn't work for the purpose of this product as if you away from home you can't obviously do that and its when you need it working the most, anyway purpose of this post was to simply give someone else who found themself in the same position a solution that worked for me, as it was shocking to me how many years this issue seem to be ongoing for some people or that it even exists in the first place.

@MplsCustomer  wasn't aware of that regarding wifi networks but I am telling you it works as I have my doorbell working off the router and 2 indoor/outdoor cams off main wifi, only thing I can think of is because I have router plugged into the back of modem so it would probably still look like same network to them?

@serg123

I can't tell from your description how you have your network configured. Are some of your cameras connected to a different network name (SSID) than others?

@MplsCustomer  yeah mate, to be specific I have second router LAN port connected to the primary  modem/routers  WAN port so it runs off a single DSL connection but on completely different networks.
