Flood light not working but the Camera works fine.

I installed my Google flood light today and the Camera is working and showing its plugged in but the flood lights are not turning on. I was thinking it may be a wiring issue but then Why would the Camera show that its plugged in and working fine ? I ensured the wires were connected properly. The settings are all favouring the light turning on but its not. Could it be a defect or perhaps the wiring isnt proper ? If the wiring wasnt proper the  why would the camera work fine ?

checked all the settings aswel.....

anyone have this issue ?

Hello roybains,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. The Nest Cam with Floodlight is designed to replace an existing floodlight and requires a connection to your home’s power that provides 100-240V AC, 50/60Hz. We would recommend you to double check the wiring and watch the video of the installation in this link. Nest Cam with Floodlight is designed to be mounted upright on vertical surfaces. Installing it any other way (such as horizontally, sideways, upside down, or at an angle) may reduce the floodlight’s functionality by limiting the motion sensor’s field of view. Looking forward to your response.

Emerson

I'm dropping by to ensure that everything is covered here. How's it going with your Nest Camera? Were you able to read the information and check the link I've shared? In case you have an update, you know where to find us.

Thanks,
