Floodlight does not work

Just bought the google nest camera with floodlight. I installed myself and it was working just fine. A few days after installation, we had a fairly significant thunderstorm roll through the area which knocked all of our power/neighborhood power out for half a day.

Oncer power was restored, the camera reconnected with no issues. Unfortunately, since the power he been back on I have not been able to access the floodlight. Despite any motion, there’s no floodlight activation. Despite me dismantling, factory resetting, removing and re-adding the device to my google home app, the floodlight STILL won’t turn on. Once I click the floodlight in the app, it says “not responding” despite the attached camera working just fine.

Can anyone offer any advice? Or does it sound like the storm must have fried the floodlight and needs replacing? Thank you.

I’m sorry you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. Could you tell us when and where you purchased your Nest Cam with floodlight? Also, are you in the same country where you bought it?
