Floodlight height

What is the correct height to install floodlight?

The existing floodlight is approximately 13 feet from ground.

I wouldn’t really say there is a “correct” height so long as the area is lit up, you’re good. 13 feet off the ground is likely sufficient. If you’re using existing wiring, you don’t really have a choice for placement unless you can move it around.

If the current light keeps the area bright, then you should be fine with the new floodlight cam.

The wiring can be lowered if necessary but I am not hearing it is required to work appropriately.
