I have both wired and battery cameras to install. Just seeking guidance of how to install these cameras on the Home or Nest app as some say to install the Battery camera to Home and wired to Nest App. I would have thought that I could simply connect all cameras to the one app? If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Tony

Unfortunately, all of the new Google Nest cameras released in the fall of 2021 (wired and battery) work only with the Google Home app and not with the Google Nest app (and not with the home.nest.com website). The Google Nest cameras sold up to this fall worked with the Google Nest app.

Thank you for your feedback on this issue, I fully understand the frustrations of not having your new Nest Cams in the Nest App. I can imagine having to use two different apps at the moment is quite daunting, and could lead to frustration.
However, the new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. Thank you for your continued patience, and support. You should be extremely careful that you do not create two "homes" with the same email address. If you have a paid subscription there is no way to transfer it to the other "home". Your only solution is then to delete and restart with a new subscription. There is also no refunds for partial service. One subscription will work with both apps for the old and new cameras. It is just critically important it be set up right because it can't be fixed I found out the hard way
