Google Floodlight Camera Swap

Can you swap the cameras on the google floodlight camera with a different outdoor battery camera? I’ve heard they are the same cameras, but wasn’t sure if I swap it out that I will have the same functionality with regard to the light.

So as it would turn out I answered my own question by purchasing and linking a new camera to my existing floodlight base. So if you are having issues with the camera, you may not have to replace the entire unit just the camera.

I’m sorry for the delay. Swapping the camera (battery) of your floodlight with another one is possible as long as the camera is working. To learn more, have a look at this article: Set up and connect Nest camera.
