Google Home app takeover from Nest app

Is there a date for the planned transfer of all features out of the Nest app to the Google Home app. It feels odd to only have access to half of the camera settings and features on Google Home and the other half on the Nest app.

Is there a Google page that provides us with updates on Google Home app? And how to write scripts to het at Nest cam capabilities.

The developer center is where I’d start for information on scripts.

As for the status of Google Home development, I can’t find anything. Reddit has a Google Home community that the app dev team seem to be watching and running Q & A sessions in.
