Doorbell wont stay on mounting plate - it won't click and lock in place - it slides down and releases again.

Mounting plate is ok, but doorbell unit, backing plate somewhat worn and wont slide easily to lock in place.

Assembly fits loose, not snug and does not snap.

Looking thru this forum I see other people have reported this.   I believe if your camera is less than a year old then it is within the 1-year warranty and Google might replace it.     Here is the link to open a support ticket.
