Google Nest Battery Wont Click Back Into Place

Hi All,

My Google nest doorbell (battery) is unable to latch onto the bracket that was installed to the side of the door. It always has worked now you no longer hear the 'Click' when attempting to put it back. Anyone else having this problem? Extremely disappointed because I've owned this for barely over a year. Appreciate the feedback.

I believe if you search this user forum you will see a number of people also have this issue.  But I don't know what they did to resolve it.   If you camera is less than a year old then Google will most likely help you out.  But if it is past that 1-year mark they leave us all to fend for ourselves.
