No apology needed 🙂 - i didnt realize, it was an international community, but ofcourse that speaks for itself :-).
Anyway, thanks for reaching out - i have tried the things you are refering to, and checked up, that we have the "same settings" on each of our devices (both iOS).
The geofencing feature works fine, i think - when we are both out of the house - the Google Home app says "not home", so far so good.
The issue is, that right now when i walk down the hallway/kitchen, the camera starts to light green as if it registers movement or people.
My wish was, that it did not do this - as long as at least one of us, are home. My experience says, that it has not always been like this either, since i bought the camera i have learned a lot by making mistakes, and correcting them - the simple learning curve :-).
But now, it is as if i cannot see what is wrong... as i see it, i can do these things:
- Manually shut of the camera whenever we are home through the app
- Select not to receive notifications each time it registers "us" that lives in the household
- Should be able to select "dont record/notify whenever geofencing says "that we are home"
- Manually turn on the camera to film the entire day whenever we are not home, and shut it off manually when we get home.
No. 4 was NOT why i bought the product 😞
