Google Nest Cam (battery) video quality

The video quality on my new Google Nest Cam (with battery) is extremely poor when compared to the two nest indoor cameras that I also have. Connectivity is fine (it lives indoors close to a mesh nest access point. The recordings captured in the app are grainy, washed out. It did appear clearer/sharper on initial setup.

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. I would love to look into this further for you, but I have need some clarification first. 

• Is your Nest Hello Battery doorbell running off of just the Battery? If so, that would be why the quality is lower. In order for it to keep its battery life, it is a small sacrifice in qualify. If you choose to wire it, the quality could be higher. 
• What is your internet quality like? This could affect the video quality for sure. 
• What other troubleshooting steps have you taken?
