I've seen this subject multiple times...and Google doesn't seem to be fixing the issue. As others have mentioned, Google hardware is not cheap, therefore it should be working flawlessly!
I bought 3 Google Nest Cams with Floodlight units. All 3 will not finish the set-up, all 3 fail at the very end. I have tried on several different routers, making sure to be close to the router, restarted the routers, reset the units, restarted my phones (I tried on several phones), I always get the same outcome: failed! Since I've tried on multiple routes (of different brands), multiple Android devices, multiple Google Net Cam with Floodlight units, I think it's safe to say, it's something with either the firmware on the units or with Google's APP...not my systems. All 3 opened units will be returned shortly if this issue continues.
