I installed a Google Nest camera today (my second one) and the install went fine. I moved the camera to another spot to try to get a better camera angle but moved the camera back to the original spot. However, when I moved it back, all of a sudden, the camera started to toggle back and forth from night vision to day vision every few seconds and so on with click sounds every time it switched. The only way I can get it to stop toggling is to put it on night vision all the time. Why is this happening and how can this be corrected? Moving it to another spot is not an option and it makes no sense why it started all of a sudden. Do I need to exchange this camera for another new one and start over?

You could try a "Restart" or a "Factory reset". Each requires pressing the reset button on the back of the camera. For the "factory reset", you could first remove it from the Google Home app, do the factory reset, and then reinstall it. For the "Restart" you just do the restart.

Hi there!
Thanks for the quick response. I guess by letting the camera settle back in to the original location, the toggling went away by itself but I will keep your suggestion in mind should it happen again.
