Today the Google Puck decided to meltdown and almost catch our closet on fire. Do not recommend. IMG_3886.jpeg

@Leemer

Google Nest's chime connectors (1st and 2nd gen) get connected to your doorbell's indoor chime, NOT to your transformer.

See the diagrams on these posts:

1st gen:

2nd gen:

Hello Leemer,

Just wanted to check if you've had a chance to see MplsCustomer's response. The correct wiring configuration for the chime connector should solely be connected to the chime box and not directly to the transformer, as this is the correct wiring setup for the chime connector. Please fill out this form with all the needed information so that we can help you out to complete the installation on your Nest doorbell. Let me know once you’re done.

Thanks for the help, @MplsCustomer

Best,
Edmond
