I have three google nest cameras around my office and have not had any issues until about a week ago. All three cameras were connected for the last three months with no problems until last week. Now one of my cameras is going offline and wont. I have not changed the locations of any of the cameras since they were first installed. The batteries are fully charged and all of the other basic troubleshooting suggestions have been tried. How do I solve this problem?

I am having the same problems with all my cams, they keep going offlien then online multiple time a day. No fix.

I just got off the phone with a google tech. he said they are too far from my router and I need a wifi extender. Im not sure if that would solve your problem as well.

Yeah thats the go to respnse but ive had them for months and this just started last week. I think its a software issue but they dont want to say it

Mine were working for three months before it started happening. Maybe the connection part of the camera wears out over time.

My camera is 4 ft above my router and goes offline multiple times a day. I just bought it last week🤦🏻♂️

Exactly
I tested my wifi at all my cameras and i get at least 500mbps so that is not the issue. I have a new camera i installed today that has a different software version and so far no issues with it going offline so we will see
The new one is running 1.57 openmaster

Hi folks,
I’m sorry to hear that and for the delayed response. No worries, we’ll sort this out — a few questions: what’s the status light of the cameras? How far are the cameras from the router? Are the cameras connected to 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi network? Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the cameras? Also, were there any changes to your Wi-Fi network?
Looking forward to your response.
Thanks,
JT
