Purchased this unit in December and it operated perfectly until a few days ago. We had a 12 hour power outage and now the camera will not turn back on - just says battery is dead. Unit is hardwired and getting power as floodlights work as they should.
Any suggestions?

X 2 - I am in the same boat. Hard wired camera and flood light. Power was off for a few hours, battery drained to 0% and will not work after several days of power being back on. We had some pretty cold temperatures and I am wondering if the batteries aren't holding up - although I don't understand why a wired unit runs through the batteries in the first place.

I'm also in the same boat. Had a 8 or 9 hour power outage over night and the camera ran out of battery power. Power is back on and I see a solid green light on the floodlight camera and the floodlights themselves turn on but in the google home app, the camera shows as offline and with 0% battery. It's been several hours now that the camera has been receiving power, but it won't come back online. I really don't want to have to get up on a ladder to factory reset this thing.

Hi Brad,
Yes, I still need assistance with the issue. It's been about 6 hours now that the camera has had power and the battery still shows as completely drained and the camera/floodlight offline in the google home app. I can still see a solid green light on the camera and the floodlight still turns on when it detects motion. I can even see that it's connected to my internal network.

I managed to get my camera online again and charging after getting up on a ladder and physically restarting the camera (Press and hold the button on the back of the camera unit itself for 5-6 seconds. You will see the status light on the front of the camera slowly blink white). After it restarted, it's came back online in my google home app.
I found it really silly that this had to be done after the internal battery completely drained since the camera was clearly receiving power and had a steady green light but that's just my opinion.
