Google Nest Doorbell Battery not recording events

I have a Nest account with an outside camera and subscribe to store recorded videos. I purchased a Google Nest Doorbell Video (Battery). It is not recognized on the Nest App, but works on Google Home app. It sends notifications of movement and doorbell activity but does not record and save. Help!

Your battery doorbell is a 2nd gen Google Nest doorbell. Do you have a 2nd gen Nest Aware or Nest Aware Plus subscription, which apply to all 1st gen and 2nd gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells in the same Google Nest "home/structure", or do you have a 1st gen Nest Aware subscription, which applies to specific 1st gen cameras and doorbells only?

How many subscriptions do I need to have everything nest/google on the same app?

A 2nd gen Nest Aware or Nest Aware Plus subscription covers ALL 1st and 2nd gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells in the same Google Nest "home/structure".
