I've had the nest doorbell (battery) for around 1.5 years. One day I had problems with my wi-fi, couldn't get the google nest doorbell to come back online on the google home app. I removed the device and tried to go for a factory reset.
I am pressing on the pin hole in the back, the one between the USB-C input and the two screws, with a clip, I get a solid white light and nothing else, no sound, no yellow lights, and after about half a minute, the solid white light goes away. Then after a few seconds, the light turns on, but green, and the circular button at the bottom also turns on, with a white halo.
I have tried this process many times, with the device both plugged and unplugged, holding on the reset button for minutes, but I can't get the factory reset to succeed. Can someone please help me?
