Google Nest Doorbell microphone doesn't work on Google Home for web (home.google.com)

Google Nest Doorbell microphone doesn't work on Google Home for web (home.google.com) when people are in front of it.

 

In example 1: the postman at the Post Office is in front of my door, the microphone icon is blocked and he is asked to activate the microphone, although it is already activated.

In example 2: the postman at the Post Office is not in front of my door and the microphone is unblocked so I can talk

@Hemidancer, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To know more about this issue, I’d like to confirm, how far is it from your Wi-Fi router? Is this also happening with your mobile phone? Try restarting your Nest Camera and Wi-Fi router and let us know how it goes.

No, this doesn't happen on Google Home for iOS. Only on Google Home for the web (home.google.com)

I've already done this and the problem continues. I believe it is a bug in the Google Home for web

Thanks for providing all the information. Have you checked if the permission for the microphone is enabled on your browser? Here are the steps on how to turn on microphone permission using Chrome browser.

1. Open Chrome.

2. At the top right, click More (3 dots) and then Settings.

3. Click Privacy and Security, then Site Settings, and then Camera or Microphone.

4. Select the option you want as your default setting.

5. Review your blocked and allowed sites.

6. To remove an existing exception or permission: To the right of the site, click Delete.

7. To allow a site that you have already blocked:under "Not allowed," select the site's name and change the camera or microphone permission to "Allow."

Have you checked if the permission for the microphone is enabled on your browser?

Yes, according to example 2 that I sent, I leave the microphone permission enabled and the Google Home for web bug prevents me from talking to the person
