Hi wingzerod,

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry that you're experiencing trouble with the low video quality during live streaming on your Nest Battery Doorbell. I understand how frustrating this can be. Let's work together to find a solution.

If your Nest Battery Doorbell camera encounters bandwidth troubles and video starts to buffer, it automatically adjusts downwards slightly to prevent the camera from disconnecting, and it will automatically adjust its resolution and compression according to how much bandwidth is available. However, you can change the quality and bandwidth settings. Here are the steps:

  1. Open the Google Home app.

  2. On the home screen, select the Nest Battery Doorbell you want to change settings for.

  3. At the top right, tap Settings.

  4. Tap Video. You can check the following:

  • Max setting uses more bandwidth.

  • High settings use a smaller amount of bandwidth.

To get a general idea of how much bandwidth Nest Battery Doorbell Camera usage requires, check this good article about Internet bandwidth and speed requirements for Nest Doorbell cameras for more details. Also, here is an article to review options on how to change Nest Doorbell video quality and recommendations.

Let me know how it goes and keep me posted.

Regards,

Byron

Hi, it's already set to max quality. And my home network has up to 1.5Gb download bandwidth which I don't think this is a bandwidth issue.
